Founded in 1956, Garden Center Services currently serves over 150 adults in a wide range of community living arrangements, community day service programs, and in our supported employment program. We truly appreciate our nursing staff and value your opinions and expertise. We are looking for a full time RN to join our team! Garden Center Services offices are located in Burbank, IL. Our group homes are located nearby, in Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, and surrounding suburbs. Main Responsibilities: • Medication Review • Coordinate medical care with doctors and hospital staff • Oversee pharmacy orders • Attend house meetings as necessary for teaching and communication with staff • Attend monthly Human Rights Committee meetings • Teach medication classes and observe med passing (bimonthly) • Quarterly nursing assessments for our ICF residents • Annual nursing assessments for all individuals • Organize annual flu vaccine clinic and hearing exams • Provide training on medical issues as needed • Assist staff with questions/concerns via telephone consultations
Experience Required:
Qualifications: IL RN License required Experience with developmental disabilities preferred
