Job Description:
1. Researches, develops and implements improvement and expansion initiatives departmentally, including applicable grant applications. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 2. Directs and oversees the management of the delivery of all programs for individuals served at various locations within the department, consistent with policies, procedures, and administrative memoranda. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 3. Supports recruitment for vocational services. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 4. Hires, supervises, and trains program managers and others under direct supervision. Submits periodic written staff personnel reviews. Assures effective utilization of departmental staff. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 5. Assures compliance with applicable local, state, and national regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 6. Develops departmental budgets and assures fiscal accountability and efficient utilization of resources. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 7. Responsible for major oversight of records and reports of individuals served, and other significant actions involving individuals supported. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 8. Recommends and assists in the development of departmental policies for Quality Assurance approval. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 9. Assures productive and positive working relationships with Residential Department, with the Union and in the community at large. Serves as liaison with pertinent agencies, businesses, funding sources, families, and guardians. Serves on select board, staff, and community committees as assigned. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 10. Maximize billing opportunities to impact Sparc and the people it supports. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 11. Supervises Developmental Training sites and Janitorial Contractual sites in person. (Essential and Non-modifiable) 12. Performs other related duties as assigned. * *Related duties as assigned are duties which may not be specifically listed in the class specification or position description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.
Experience Required:
A master's degree in a human services field
