Job Description:
Schedule : M-F 8a-2p (30 hours/week) Provide individual and small group social work services to students as determined by the IEP team. Develop, plan, and assist students with academic and social emotional programming in a wide range of settings. Liaison between parents/guardian, school officials, and community resources Conduct and collect data through evaluations, risk assessments, community based social skill integration, and other formative assessment
Experience Required:
Master’s Degree in Social Work Social Work License (LSW) issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (DFPR) State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) as a school social worker (Type 73 (School Service Personnel Certificate with a Social Worker Endorsement), preferred Background in testing and measurement. Experience in counseling and crisis intervention. Strong communication skills. Experience working with the social/emotional needs of children and knowledge of special education. Team experience including developing IEPs and coordinating services (including outside supports).
